My kiddos are polar opposites when it comes to a lot of things. But, I had a really rough time with Leilah in the early days. She was very colicky and difficult to soothe. These are my methods and products I have come to value the most after dealing with her cranky, newborn butt. 😉
Anyone with kids knows the struggle. You have a count down in your head until bedtime so you can finally have that alone time. You've kept the kids alive another day. You want to check out and do your own thing. We've all been there.
Since having my second baby I have really started to make an effort to put my face on a majority of the time. I feel neater, less sloppy, and like myself if I have a little bit of makeup on. It makes me feel just slightly more polished. So, I like to take about 5 minutes after I shower to get beautified, and go on with my day!
I was determined to breastfeed my babies as long as it was working for our family. If I was happy and baby was happy, then we were going to keep on trucking!
I must say, these are probably the best cookies we've ever made. Granted, they're also probably the sweetest cookies you will ever eat. But hey, we're making cookies, not salad. SPLURGE A LITTLE FOR HEAVENS SAKE!
I started changing up my days to keep myself more on track, keep the house a little neater, and make me feel much more productive at the end of the day.
It was a tough two weeks. But, the consistency paid off in the end. This method set up Leilah to be such a great sleeper!
